Hi, my name is Terry Weiler. For 20 years, I have had the honor to fish and guide on the Manistee and Muskegon Rivers. I would love the opportunity to share with you my experiences and techniques that will enable you to catch that trophy Steelhead or Salmon. All tackle and bait is furnished. I’m a licensed Captain thru the United States Coast Guard and am fully insured. I’m also a registered guide and permit holder with the Manistee National Forest Ranger Station.
Your fishing experience will take place on an 18ft Rivermaster Sled that is equipped with a 4 stroke, 80hp Yamaha Jet Motor. For your fishing enjoyment in colder weather, an enclosure is used along with a 30,000 BTU heater. Equipment used is Fenwick, Berkley, Abu Garcia and Dave’s Kaboom baits, which are also major sponsors of the website as well as my fishing equipment.
Originally, I am from Sandusky, Michigan, but fell in love with the area when I attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. While at Ferris, I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration. Currently, I live in the Hardy Dam area with my wonderful wife Lisa, and have two children Alicia and Brent.
